The ceremony, themed Captive Energy Mix: The Future of Industrial Energy was in line with ERC’s role to support and regulate the energy market to provide affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for all.

ERC has been a proud sponsor of EMA awards, which seek to recognize organization that have showed their prowess in energy efficiency and conservation. Bidco Africa Ltd emerged the winner of the Overall Energy Management Award.

Other winners of the night include: Farmer’s Choice Limited, who won the Best Most Improved Award; Executive Residency by Best Western, Nairobi who won best new entrant small and medium consumer award; Sotik Tea Company Limited for Best New Entrant for large Consumer; Mombasa Cement Limited who won the Best Energy Management Team Award. Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodge scooped the Best Energy Management Service Sector Award and the Fuel Savings Award Small Consumer.
